Wittman to be Appointed as ICSC State Operations Chair

Jim Wittman, Director of Development for Evansville, Indiana based Regency Properties, was appointed to a volunteer leadership position with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) last month in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jim was appointed as Indiana State Operations Chair at the 2008 Leadership Orientation, part of the annual ICSC Global Retail Real Estate Convention. He replaced outgoing Chair, Robert L. Thatcher of Elkhart, Indiana.

In his role, Wittman will work with ICSC Professional Staff and other volunteers to identify opportunities impacting the operational side of the real estate industry. He will also act as a resource on certification programs for ICSC members and non-members.

“We’re extremely proud of Jim,” said Jim McKinney, President and CEO of Regency Properties. “Jim will be able to serve our industry while advancing Regency’s prominence with our peers and retailers.”

Jim Wittman has worked for Regency Properties since 2000, leasing shopping centers across Indiana and Illinois and directing the company’s new development.
