JULY 6, 2006 - Save-A-Lot and Regency Properties Complete Store Renovations

Three remodeled and upgraded Save-A-Lot supermarkets in Evansville celebrate their reopenings this week. Completely redesigned, the three stores are located in Regency Property’s Fairlawn, Westgate and Town Center Shopping Centers.
The local Save-A-Lot grocery stores are 100% employee owned as a subsidiary of Houchens Industries.
Darryl Watson, District Manager said, “We’re very pleased with the cooperation between Regency and Houchens. It’s making the shops great for the customer.”
The remodeled stores are located at Westgate Shopping Center on Barker Avenue and Fairlawn Shopping Center at the corner of Weinbach and Pollack. The Town Center Store on Diamond Avenue is a new location for Save-A-Lot.
Regency Properties of Evansville, Indiana owns and manages the three Evansville Shopping Centers.
Jim Wittman, Regency Properties Manager of Development, and Ryan Deeg, Property Manager have overseen the projects for the commercial real estate company. “This is a community effort,” said Wittman. “We (Regency Properties) see our role here as partners with the businesses and residents, all of whom share in the pride and concern for these great neighborhoods.”
