Mr. Hammett joined the Regency staff in July, 2007. He is responsible for the accounting and finance functions of Regency while serving as an officer of the company and on its Executive Committee. Prior to joining Regency, Mr. Hammett served as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary/Treasurer of SMC Corporation of America, a pneumatic component manufacturer and distributor. SMC Corporation is a privately held $350 million company with 1,500 employees in the United States. In 1990, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Indiana and is a Certified Public Accountant. In addition, in 2008 he was awarded the designation of Certified Management Accountant.
