Goody’s to Open in Village North and New China Wok Restaurant to Open in Northfield Plaza in Lebanon

Goody’s, the national fashion retailer, is opening a new store in Lebanon’s Village North Shopping Center this coming March. The nearly 10,000 square foot store replaces Fashion Bug. Goody’s is part of Stage Store Corporation of Houston, TX. The corporate retailer also owns Peebles, Beales and several other regional brands, representing over 770 stores in 39 states.

Regency Properties of Evansville, Indiana is the owner and manager of Village North, which is located on Lebanon’s north side on Lebanon Street. Jim Wittman, Regency’s Vice President of Development and Leasing announced the new Goody’s and said, “We are very pleased to bring this quality fashion retailer to Lebanon. We have worked with Goody’s in our other shopping centers in Indiana and other states and have found that they offer great values and styles to the community.”

Regency Properties also owns and manages Lebanon’s Northfield Center which will soon be home to a new China Wok restaurant. China Wok offers a large variety of Chinese menu items, ranging from regional specialties to the traditional favorites. It will be both a carry-out and sit-down establishment, with seating for 28 and plenty of parking for its 1,700 square foot space.

“We have been proud members of the Lebanon community for over 20 years and enjoy helping to provide for the basic needs and wants of the community,” said Wittman.

The commercial real estate company operates retail centers in Indiana, Illinois, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama and South Carolina. For over 50 years, Regency has been involved in the acquisition and improvement of commercial properties in many vibrant, middle-American county seat communities.
